Daily Dynamo Selections – Everton v Manchester City

Betting Tips, Dynamo Bet, Premier League | Article posted on April 29th, 2014

Suddenly Manchester City are in pole position in the Premier League title race. After Sunday’s dramatic action, City now have their destiny in their own hands, and every Liverpool supporter will find themselves supporting their city rivals in this critical fixture.

Everton have been an absolutely formidable team at Goodison this season, beating Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United already, as well as only being denied a victory over Liverpool by a late Daniel Sturridge equaliser. Liverpool will now be desperately hoping that Everton can produce another top class display on their home turf to pick up at least a point from this game.

City made a shaky start to their away days this season, but have been in supreme form of late. They ruthlessly and almost effortlessly dismissed Crystal Palace last time out, and looked like the champions elect that they are. While David Silva will be missed, City are more than capable of winning without him, and they kept their nerve fantastically well in the final furlongs of their previous title win two season ago.

Everton will also miss Gareth Barry for this fixture, who is on loan from City. This could hurt Everton, although they have coped well without him previously.

The fact is that Everton have won more games on their home turf than anyone in the division other than Chelsea, and I can see them breaking City’s hearts here. They are no pushover at Goodison under any circumstances, and I can see this one ending in a draw.
