Lay 'No' in the Both Teams to Score Market for Gremio v Atletico Nacional @ 1.674/6
It’s Copa Libertadores tonight for Paul Robinson as he thinks both teams will score in the Gremio v Atletico Nacional match that’s available on Betfair Live Video at 01:00 GMT.
Gremio began their Libertadores campaign with a 1-0 win at Uruguay’s Nacional a fortnight ago and that has boosted their chances of making it through what appears to be a tricky group, on paper at least. Not only do they have to face tonight’s opponents, who are the reigning Colombian champions, they also have to take on one of the best teams in Argentina in the form of Newell’s Old Boys.
During this tournament last season, ‘Immortal’ made it through to the knockout phase but they fell at the first hurdle against Santa Fe. During the tournament five out of their eight fixtures resulted in both teams scoring – including three of the four played at Arena do Gremio.
Atletico Nacional also began their Libertadores run with a 1-0 victory and while theirs was on home soil, it came against Newells, so I’d argue that their win was more impressive than Gremio’s. They may have since been beaten in domestic action at the weekend, but I really wouldn’t read too much into that as their focus was undoubtedly on tonight’s fixture.
As far as the goals go, four of the last half dozen for Juan Carlos Osorio’s men have seen them both score and concede, and if we focus solely on their recent results on the road, we can see that three of their last four have followed suit.
I toyed with opposing the Brazilians as I can definitely see Atletico Nacional scoring, but this bet represents the better value. Therefore with both teams not to score currently trading at around the 1.674/6 mark, I have to make it my lay of the day.
