Barca Odds on as Real Labour
The early exchanges in La Liga have significantly favoured the reigning champions, as Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid have yet to truly click in this season’s Spanish championship.
Already Bareclona have opened up a five point gap on their great rivals, with the same also true of Real’s city rivals Atletico, after Los Blancos went down to a 1-0 home defeat to the Koke-inspired Ateltico.
The quality of Spanish football is underlined by the performance of Atletico so far this season. Considered an also ran after losing Radamel Falcao, players such as Diego Costa and the aforementioned schemer Koke have come to the fore. Koke is just yet another brilliant young Spanish midfield player, only 21 years of age, who promises to form an exciting and formidable partnership one day with Real’s Isco in the national team.
Meanwhile, the bookies have installed Barca as odds on favourites after seven wins on the bounce. It is hard to argue with them.
