Cross-Sport Multiple: Back Blades for Cup glory

“The Blades have a strong record against Fulham, having never lost to them in five FA Cup encounters…”

Andrew Hughes thinks Sheffield United can add a second Premier League scalp to their collection on Sunday and help land a cross-sport multiple in the process.
Bet 1: Back Sheffield United to beat Fulham at 2.6213/8
Sheffield United dumped Aston Villa out of the FA Cup in the third round and they are good value to end Fulham’s Cup hopes on Sunday.
The Londoners have been in mediocre form in recent weeks and are deep in a relegation battle, one point off the drop zone and facing a tough run of fixtures that sees them playing Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea in the next four weeks.
By contrast, Sheffield United are safely in mid-table in League One and a long Cup run would be the highlight of their season. The Blades have a strong record against Fulham, having never lost to them in five FA Cup encounters, and with the visitors likely to rest several first team players, the home side are a solid bet.
Bet 2: Back Hurricane Fly to win Irish Champion Hurdle at 1.758/11
The number of entrants for the Irish Champion Hurdle has been declining in recent years, a trend that has coincided with the domination of Hurricane Fly.
He took this race for the third time last year, en route to retaining his Champion Hurdle crown at Cheltenham and I can’t see any of Sunday’s rivals stopping him.
Captain Cee Bee will be outclassed and both Our Connor and Jezki were beaten fair and square by Hurricane Fly in the Ryanair Hurdle last time. The improving Jezki is the most likely challenger, but he has better chance of toppling the champion on faster going and the favourite is a solid bet to win his 19th race in 21 outings.
Bet 3: Back San Jose to beat Minnesota at 1.444/9
Two in-form Western Conference teams go head to head in California in the early hours of Sunday morning and San Jose are deserved favourites.
Both teams boast a healthy 7-3-0 record going into this game and Minnesota Wild are fresh from an impressive victory over the Chicago Blackhawks. But the Sharks have won their last five games in a row and they haven’t lost at home to Minnesota since March 2025. Back San Jose for the victory.
Total Odds for this multiple: 6.6011/2 Remember, multiple prices are based on our Sportsbook product, so any winnings are exempt from commission.
