Daily Dynamo Selection – Newcastle United v Manchester City
Manchester City continue their quest to win the Premier League title for the second time in three seasons against a Newcastle United side who have looked formidable on their home turf so far this season. City have already lost four away games this season, although they seem to have corrected their problems on the road in recent weeks with some good wins. But they still look a little vulnerable defensively away from home, having already leaked seventeen goals in their Premier League away fixtures thus far this campaign.
And Newcastle are more than a handful at St. James' Park, so this could be a very tricky fixture for the away side. Arsenal found in their recent trip to Newcastle that the home side are both very high quality and resolute, and required a headed goal from a set-piece in order to secure the narrowest of victories that they barely deserved.
This game could be decided in midfield, where City are extremely strong and creative, and Newcastle's Yohann Cabaye is one of the very best operators in the division. Although City have scored a lot of goals both home and away, and Newcastle are likely to attack them, based on the evidence of Arsenal's 1-0 win over Newcastle this should be a tight game, so my Dynamo Daily Selection is for the under 2.5 goals bet.
