Since recording their biggest result of the season defeating Atletico Madrid 2-0 at the start of February, Almeria have been on a slump drawing one and losing four of their last five league matches.

Monday night’s encounter could also prove to be a tricky one for the Andalusians as they host a Real Sociedad side who may be a little out of form but still remain one of the most dangerous sides in the division.

With varying degrees of success both these sides have shown themselves to be capable of playing attractive, expansive football.

Neither could be classified as a defensive team and both will fancy their chances of scoring this evening.

Backing goals at both ends therefore looks like a decent option particularly given their recent form. This selection has paid out in Almeria’s last three games, with Francisco’s side losing each of those fixtures yet still managing to get on the scoresheet.

That could well be the outcome again this evening against the Basques who have scored in 17 of their last 20 La Liga games, and while the price on both teams to score is not the biggest, the likelihood of it paying out makes it difficult to ignore.

While Real Sociedad are the more accomplished of these two teams and are currently pushing for European football, their recent form as been such that they're far from guaranteed to win this one. Thus, I would favour the draw for my other Daily Dynamo Selection for this fixture.
