Daily Dynamo Selections – Arsenal v Manchester City
Manchester City's testing week continues with a trip to one of the strongest sides in the Premier League, albeit one who will now need an extremely strong finish to the season to win the title.
Arsenal's 6-0 surrender at the hands of Chelsea looks to have ended their title challenge, but they have been a formidable side all season at the Emirates, and City will know that this will be an extremely tough fixture for them. If they win it, though, their chances of winning the title will look to be extremely good.
The Gunners haven't lost at home to any of their other title rivals, though, and might quite fancy taking Manchester City on in an open game of football. If City have had a vulnerability this season, it has been away from home where they have come up short on numerous occasions, albeit with their form improving as the season has gone on. Without Sergio Aguero as well, Arsenal might sense a vulnerability in the title challengers.
Many people might be expecting City to come out on top here given Arsenal's recent travails, but they have two testing games in a week with the Manchester derby just ahead of this fixture, and the pressure might tell on them. I think Arsenal are well capable of picking up a point here, in what I expect to be a particularly tight game given the midfield quality on show, so my Daily Dynamo Selections reflect this.
