Two of the dark horses for the forthcoming World Cup meet on Wednesday night, as the much fancied Belgian team play host to an Ivory Coast side that is generally considered to be the best in Africa.

Ivory Coast, or Côte d'Ivoire as they ought to be referred to, have been damaged in previous major tournaments by some extremely unfavourable draws. But the Brazil World Cup looks to have landed them with a decent opportunity to progress to the knockout stages, and given the quality in their squad they will be a match for anyone in the last sixteen on their day.

Thus, this should be an interesting opportunity to see where the two sides stand a few months ahead of the iconic Brazilian tournament. Belgium certainly sailed through their qualifying group, and thus given their home status for this fixture they are strong odds on favourites.
