Daily Dynamo Selections – Chelsea v Tottenham
Chelsea continue their title charge here with a home fixture against one of their biggest rivals. Tottenham will be keen not only to deny the Blues three vital points here, but also to keep up their own challenge for a top four place. But Chelsea are on an excellent run in the Premier League, and can go nine points clear should they see off Spurs at the Bridge.
Given Jose Mourinho's incredible record at Stamford Bridge, it is not surprising that the Blues are odds on favourites to win here, even faced with testing opposition. Their 12 wins and 2 draws from 14 home fixtures is one of the best in Europe, and they have certainly looked like champions elect in recent fixtures.
But Tottenham are a very capable side with a lot of options all over the field, and will hope to make a big impression at Stamford Bridge as they attempt to keep their Champions League hopes alive. While a point might be viewed as a good result for Tottenham, there is a certain pressure on them to go for the win considering the tough race for the Champions League places that has unfolded this season.
Thus, this might be a more open game than many are expecting, and I think the over 2.5 goals bet is a safe option for the first of my Daily Dynamo Selections. I expect Chelsea to edge this though and take a big step towards another EPL title for Jose Mourinho.
Selections: Safe Bet – Over 2.5 Goals (5/6 with BetVictor), Value Bet – Chelsea to win by 1 goal (114 with SkyBet)
