Daily Dynamo Selections – Manchester City v West Bromwich Albion
Manchester City's title hopes currently hang by a thread, and should they fail to beat West Brom at the Etihad in this Monday evening kick-off then they will almost certainly disappear completely. Certainly City will be strong favourites, but they will also be weary of this game having squandered two points against Sunderland last time out.
At the same time, should Liverpool lose at home to Chelsea, then a victory for City in all of their remaining fixtures would almost certainly see them crowned Premier League champions. So City are by no means out of the race yet, and must not slip up here if they are to retain chances of overhauling the Merseyside league leaders.
City are unquestionably overwhelming favourites for this game. Despite drawing their last home game, they retain an awesome home record, having blown away numerous opponents at Eastlands this term, scoring 54 goals into the bargain. The Baggies have won only three times away from home, scoring just 18 times, and there is no doubt with relegation still a possibility that they'd take a point here.
It's hard to see them achieving this, though, against a City team desperate for a win and full of quality. It seems to be a matter of how many City will score rather than how the game will finish here and my Daily Dynamo Selections reflect this:
Selections: Safe Bet – Over 2.5 goals (2/5 with BetVictor), Value Bet – City to win by 3 goals (22/5 with BetVictor)
