Daily Dynamo Selections – Paris Saint-Germain v Chelsea
For many, Paris St-Germain v Chelsea is the toughest of this season's Champions League quarter-finals to call. On the one hand, Laurent Blanc has built – and is continuing to construct – one of Europe's most exciting teams, with the often brilliant Zlatan Ibrahimovic its centrepiece. The Swede has registered 40 goals already this season and only Cristiano Ronaldo has scored more in the Champions League. PSG reached the quarter-final stage last season too, only exiting on away goals after posing plenty of problems for Barcelona.
PSG are on a 13-match unbeaten run and have not lost at home in their last nine Champions League games while Chelsea have won just one of their last six games on the road. Jose Mourinho is trying to get Chelsea to their third European final in as many years Jose Mourinho is trying to get Chelsea to their third European final in as many years. But they will have their work cut out against one of Europe's nouveau-riche outfits.
PSG look the stronger side on paper to me, and certainly have more forward options. I expect them to edge this, despite the fact that the English bookmakers have unsurprisingly received a lot of money on Chelsea, and I'm going to back the French side to come away with a vital Champions League win in my Daily Dynamo Selections.
Safe Bet – Over 2.5 goals (10/11 with BetVictor), Value Bet – PSG to win (6/4 with BetVictor)
