After one of their best results of the season in the Champions League, Barcelona return to La Liga action in this tremendously exciting season. With Barca and both Madrid clubs tied on points, it is imperative for Barca to continue their winning streak here against Real Sociedad.

This probably won't be a walkover, though. Sociedad are still in with a good chance of earning Champions League football again, and their home record is particularly impressive. Barca haven't always been completely convincing away from home in the Spanish league this season, and despite their overwhelming odds on price, this might be trickier than one might imagine.

I certainly don't think Barcelona are backable at their current price, so looking elsewhere would be wise for selections on this fixture. Barca haven't quite rattled in the goals away from home to the degree that they have at the Nou Camp, with the club having scored over 50% more goals at home. While Sociedad's defensive record is very strong at home, so I think the under 2.5 goals bet offers good value here, particularly as the outsider.

Many people will consider this a case of how many for Barcelona, and it's certainly hard to bet against them winning. After two of their best performances of this campaign in their last two matches, including a six goal romp in La Liga last time out, they may be hitting form at just the right time. So I will go for an away victory by two clear goals here for the value bet.
