This top of the table encounter between Roma and Juventus looks like a potential cracker. However, it may be entirely immaterial to the title race, as three points for Juve in their fixture against Lazio will seal the title mathematically, and a draw will mean they only need one point from their last two games to seal the Scudetto. Nevertheless, Roma will hope their bitter rivals can do them a favour and keep the Serie A title race alive for this big game.
Both Roma and Juventus have been outstanding at home this season. Usually, Roma's unbeaten home record would be unequalled, but Juventus have won no less than 17 out of 17 at the Stadio delle Alpi. They've been pretty good on their travels too, though, with thirteen wins away from home, and Roma will have their work cut out to defeat them here. When the two sides met earlier this season, Juventus won at a canter.
The intensity of this game will obviously be dependent upon whether or not the title is wrapped up by the time it takes place. If Juve are beaten by Lazio then Roma will still be dreaming of the title, even though the odds are very much against them securing it. However, if the away side have something to play for then I can see them securing the draw they need here, and this is a likely outcome anyway.
