Swansea's debut season in European competition has already been an enjoyable and successful one, but landing the plum tie of Napoli in the knockout stages has made the whole experience even more memorable. However, the Swans have lost a manager since qualifying for the knockout stages, and all hasn't run entirely according to plan thus far this term.

Napoli meanwhile look to be in a very strong position to qualify for next season's Champions League, and if their title tilt hasn't quite materialised, then their current playing squad gives them plenty of hope for the future. The likes of Gonzalo Higuaín and Gökhan Inler have made the Neapolitans a tough side to face this season, and Swansea will have their work cut out to progress beyond this tie.

While the home side can still play some superb football, they have suffered with injuries this term, particularly to their star player from last season, Michu. They might actually relish facing a good footballing side such as Napoli, but their recent form would suggest that it will be a tough test for them, and one they're not likely to overcome.

Swansea's form has picked up after sacking Michael Laudrup, though, after a pretty dismal run of one point in six EPL fixtures. Home advantage and a packed Liberty Stadium will also count in their favour, and I think they'll raise their game and manage to achieve a draw in this first-leg.
