Group B is one of the toughest in this year's World Cup, with three very strong sides all vying for a place in the last sixteen.

Unquestionably the strongest of the three are the holders Spain. With an awesomely strong squad, the Spanish will be strongly fancied to make the knockout stages, and it is hard to disagree with this prognosis.

But who will join them in the last sixteen? Australia look to have absolutely no chance, so the final place will come down to a straight shootout between Chile and the Netherlands.

Chile's Alexis Sanchez showed what he is capable of in Barcelona's last home game of the season, when he scored an absolutely brilliant goal. Although Sanchez hasn't always been first choice at Barca this season, his form has been such when he has played that Chile will have high hopes that he can lead them to the second round at least. Aside from Sanchez, Arturo Vidal of Juventus is one of Serie A and Europe's very best midfielders, and there is no doubt that the South Americans are in with a shot in this group.

The Netherlands made the finals of the previous World Cup in South Africa, and will be hopeful of producing their best form in South America once again. Although some of their star players, such as Robin van Persie and Wesley Sneijder, are in their autumn years, they still look a strong side of paper. In Arjen Robben, the Dutch can call upon one of the truly standout performers in world football.

Chile and the Netherlands look to be pretty evenly matched, but Chile look a little weak at the back, and thus I'm going to tip the Netherlands to join Spain in the last sixteen.
