Juventus line up Piszczek
Juventus are looking to line up a transfer for Borussia Dortmund’s central defender Lukasz Piszczek. In what could be considered a golden generation for Polish football – with the national team also able to call upon the talent of two other Dortmund players, Robert Lewandowski and Jakub Błaszczykowski – Piszczek has earned rave reviews this season as Dortmund have reached the Champions League final.
It seems likely that the Old Lady of Italian football will be seeking replacements for Stephan Lichtsteiner, who has caught the attention of a number of foreign clubs. The Swiss defender could well be on his way out of the Stadio delle Alpi in the summer, and the reigning Serie A champions have evidently targeted the talented Pole as a replacement.
Whether or not Dortmund will be willing to see or not remains to be seen, as they are already losing Mario Gotze, and there seems to be a more than reasonable chance that Robert Lewandowski will also be moving to one of Europe’s elite clubs during the next transfer window. Dortmund have already been linked with Christian Eriksen as a replacement for Gotze.
Before contemplating his future, Piszczek will be concentrating on the forthcoming Champions League final with Bayern Munich.
