Introduction

Arsenal’s season is going from strength to strength, despite the slight setback of losing a lead against Everton at the weekend. Nevertheless, although it seems highly likely that they will progress from this Champions League group, it is not certain and Arsenal also understand the profound difference between finishing top of a qualifying group and second. Thus, the Gunners will want to avoid the likes of Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid by picking up at least a point here, which could lead to Arsenal facing Olympiacos or Basel instead.

Arsenal have very much impressed both home and away this season, and they beat Napoli very comfortably earlier in the campaign. Although the home side need three points and will be very motivated, I can see Arsenal securing the point that they need in order to win the group.
