Ozil Transfer Baffles Madrid Stars
While fans of Real Madrid took the time to welcome their new world record signing Gareth Bale to the club, Real Madrid’s players seemed at least equally concerned about the exit of Mesut Ozil to Arsenal.
In fact Real’s cognoscenti were queuing up to bemoan the fact that Ozil had been allowed to leave.
Real’s ultimate galactico Cristiano Ronaldo made it clear that he was far from happy, according to The Independent being angry about the German’s exit.
Sami Khedira also expressed his regret that the playmaker would no longer be wearing Los Blancos colours.
Sergio Ramos, apparently a great friend of Ozil in Madrid, expressed his great regret that his pal was leaving, telling goal that he would have stopped Ozil from joining Arsenal.
And if this wasn’t enough, Jose Mourinho also described Ozil as the “best number ten in the world”.
What effect this will have on the Real team remains to be seen.
