Transfer deadline day gets off to a slow start on Sky Sports News with reports that a vintage Range Rover, containing a cryogenically frozen Harry Redknapp, has been wheeled into position outside Portsmouth's training ground.
Meanwhile, there's a crisis brewing over on the Social Media desk when it emerges that, after two decades of making viewers choose between two things, there is nothing left in football for them to hold a poll about. They decide to conduct a poll about it.

Sky sources, using their eyes, report a double-whammy of huge transfer news. Thiago Messi, 22, completes his move from hometown club Barcelona to Manchester City for a club-record fee of £411.7m. His father and agent, legendary former Barcelona forward Lionel Messi, agreed personal terms after flying in for talks with City manager Pablo Zabaleta.
The astronomical fee overshadowed the £332.5m paid by Premier League champions MK Dons for another famous footballing son – Portuguese international Cristianinho, 24, also completed his move from Real Madrid after claiming the Golden Boot at the 2034 World Cup in Scandinavia.
